  • Science Competition

    Wed 20 Apr 2016

On Tuesday 12th April eleven KS1 children had the fantastic opportunity to participate in the prestigious science fair at Warwick University. They took with them science projects displaying investigations they had undertaken at home and each had a slot to share their findings with a university expert. The projects were of a very high standard and Briar Hill children communicated their ideas with clarity and confidence. After a guided tour of the university, they were treated to a 'WOW' science display which included fascinating space facts and a rocket launching explosion!

The highlight of the day had to be when one of our children won first place in the Tim Peake awards category - well done to Serena Sandhar of HB1.

We are very proud of all of our budding scientists. Thank you to everyone who entered the Science Fair competition - we are already looking forward to next year's entries!
