Our children who won the Science Project competition went to Warwick University on Tuesday to showcase their work.
They had a brilliant time.
Year 2 noticed today that there were dragon footprints in the corridor leading from outside. They went all the way up the corridor to the egg, which has been sitting in it's nest since it arrived.
In a special assembly Mrs Willis explained that she had received a letter that morning. She read this letter to the children and it explained the footprints but also where the egg came from and why it was left at Briar Hill. Ask your children all about it.
This afternoon, Friday 16th March, the Science Project Showcase will be held in the hall. Children will be dismissed as usual from their classes to you on the playground. This will include any children who have taken part and brought in a project. Then you will be able to come into the school hall via the main entrance where you and your child can look at all of the fantastic projects.
We look forward to seeing you all later today.
Today was World Book Day at school and everybody celebrated in style. Children and staff took part in so many different ways from dressing up to going outside to paint in the snow!
