• Bikes and Scooters

  Please can we ask you to make sure that if you leave any bikes or scooters here at school in the bike sheds that they are securely locked. Some children at other schools in the area have had their belongings stolen as they haven't followed this guide.

• Lucky Year 1's

  Year 1 children have been given a geranium plant from the Leamington in Bloom team. They have one each to care for and the grown plants will go on to be in the Geranium Train display at Jephson Gardens in the summer.

• WOW!!

  Craig Foster raised the staggering amount of £1000 through sponsorship of his Brighton Marathon run on Sunday 9th April.

  A huge thank you to him for thinking of us for his chosen charity and a big thank you to all of you who clicked on his Just Giving page and donated.

  The money raised will be used to enhance our PE provision for your children.

  Craig will be coming into school on Wednesday 24th May to talk to the children in assembly.

  He is training hard, he says " I have a few niggles and am constantly aching but it is not long to go now".

• Campion Scientists

  Our second visitors of the week were staff from Campion School.

  The Headteacher and his staff from the science department presented an assembly to all of our children.

  Some of the children helped them with their experiments which identified acids and alkalis.

  

• Visitors to Briar Hill

  We have had several visitors to Briar Hill this week. The first were a group of children from St Margaret's who led an assembly for the whole school on Tuesday 15th March.

  On Monday afternoon about 3pm- 3.20pm several children were seen climbing over the bikes in the bike shed and the bike shed frame.
